Here is a quick shot I took of my Leader Kagero that I got earlier.
Nothing to fancy about the image, but I wanted to get a proper image of my build now its finished for those who have been asking to see.
I’m waiting for the perfect sunrise/sunset lighting to get some more artsy shots of it, but for now here is my new pride and joy.
Huge thanks to Leader bikes and Patrick of Pedal Consumption for being so supportive. Massive shout out to Dave from the 5th floor for scouting out the wheel build I’ve been after and finally but not least, Ivan(Peter) at BLB for sending my parts to me.
Like I said, expect to see a lot more images of Kagero on my work blog in the coming weeks.
So after I finally finished building my Kagero, I took it out for a quick 15minute ride around my town and first impression is that it feels amazing.
Super stiff but still comfortable. The geo feels fantastic, still yet to go on a longer ride to see how it feels after a good long distance but for short blasts I can’t find any faults so far.
I on the other hand am very unfit. It was just a quick 15 minute blast but having never rode a “fast bike” properly or a fixed gear in nearly 2 months, my legs have gotten super weak.
Blasted BMX riding making me lazy.
So, it looks like I’m gonna need to work on rebuilding my leg muscles.
Anyway, I’ll get some photos of the Kagero tomorrow.
I’m one stoked and excited dude.
I still get a little surprised when I see a photo I’ve taken being reblogged all over tumblr.
I remember one image got nearly 4000 notes. I don’t think I get 4000 hits on my portfolio in a month.
Anyway, this is the first photo I ever took of Rudy that was used for a Leader online Ad.
Was stoked on the image back then, but now I see it again, there’s so many things I’d do to make it a better image.
