The Coolist top 30 wine packaging designs
I’m not a massive fine or wine. Come to think about it don’t drink that much full stop. But I do however appreciate good design, and when it comes ot product design it has too the part.
The Coolist put together what they though was the top 30 packaging for wine and I must say I love them all.

Tragic News for British Cycling
Just found out that the British Olympic hopeful Lewis Balycky has been tragically killed in a road accident while training just miles from home.

It’s never nice to hear about accidents, whether they are critical or fatal.
My thought are with the Balycky family.

I've now read
Lev Manovich’s “The Paradox Of Digital Photography” maybe a millions times and started to put together what my research paper is going to look like.
Surprising I’m quite pleased, I know what I want to write about, and how I want to write it. Now its just a case of actually doing it.

Red Bull Mini Drome!
Red Bull Hosted a one in a life time event the other day. Red Bull Mini Drome.
The event saw 105 competitors fight for a stop in top 32 riders and then on to win the event.
And boy was a good day out!
Held in the wonderful York Hall.
The event saw riders from all forms of different bike backgrounds, Pro track riders, Downhill Mountain bikers and FGFS riders.

Damn
After 9 hours of editing I’ve only just finished the 2nd set. Both Qualification and Pursuit images are finished now one to the 3rd set…almost there. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!
Sunday
And I’m feeling a little worse for wear.
15hours on my feet yesterday at the Red Bull Mini Drome killed me.
I now have exactly 1150 images to go through and edit. So keep your eyes out for that!
Putting my numbers and drawings into CAD
Not always the easiest programme to use but at least I can see my ideas in a more realistic form.
Next…production!

Planning for the summer
I’ve decided to actually make my plans of going to the States this summer a reality.
I’ve done nothing all day besides looking for the cheapest flight to LA. Which surprisingly isn’t that bad. Only issue is finding the cheapest way to get to Portland, the train takes 30 hours so thats out the window and flights are just a little to expensive, but hey.
LA + San Diego + Portland...
WatchTokyo to Osaka, Over 500km, with terrain that I can only imagine that is twice as hard of London to Paris.
